Team

Jessica Gabler completed a horticultural apprenticeship specialising in ecological farming and worked for the Botanical Garden of Mérida, Venezuela during a long-term internship. Jessica then furthered her knowledge studying Biological Diversity and Ecology at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen, focusing on botany, plant diversity and ecological agriculture. Dry and low-nutrient habitats and their vegetation inspire her garden design that is focused on sustainability under climate change events. As a freelancer, she gives expert advise to private and public horticulturers on how to develop naturalistic eco-friendly gardens. Since 2021 Jessica has taken up a request to support the TH-OWL as a lecturer and member of the Team Botanical Garden Höxter and is entrusted with the development of the Information-System Botanical Garden Höxter.
