Starting your degree at the OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts

Welcome to the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences, dear first semester students!

To ensure that all new students have a good start to the first semester, a central first semester welcome will take place on September 22, 2025 at 10 a.m. in Lemgo.

Through our social media channels, you will never miss any news and will always stay up to date on what's happening at TH OWL:

The student councils of our ten departments as well as the student bodies, the AStA and the StuPa, are also represented on social media.

Important note: Future relocation of degree programs from the Höxter campus

The Sustainable Campus Höxter will remain one of the three locations of the TH OWL. Enrollment in the degree programs offered there will still be possible for the 2025/2026 winter semester. In the future, these will be relocated to the Creative Campus Detmold or the Innovation Campus Lemgo. Planning for this is underway; a concrete timetable will be announced in the course of 2025. TH OWL will ensure that all students are informed several months in advance and can continue to study and complete their programs without disruption.
