Selection of Scholarships
On this page we offer you an overview of selected scholarships. Our presentation "Scholarships are also available for me" is intended to give you an initial overview of what a scholarship is, provide initial general information on the requirements for funding and a rough overview of the application process.
First of all, you will find scholarships where TH OWL is involved in the award decision in various ways. These are scholarships for all students (all departments but also students from certain departments), but also scholarships for students with a refugee background and incoming and outgoing students.
You will also find an overview of the scholarships offered by the 13 scholarship organizations for talented students.
Of course, there are numerous other external scholarships in addition to those mentioned here. The following pages may be suitable starting points for your own initial research:
- www.stipendiumplus.de: Here you will find information on the funding opportunities offered by the organizations for the promotion of gifted students in Germany
- www.e-fellows.net: Database with various filter options to search for the right scholarship
- www.studienfonds-owl.de: Here you will find information on the Deutschlandstipendium and the social scholarship of the OWL Study Fund Foundation.
- International Office and the Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst (DAAD): Here you will find information on scholarships for studies and/or stays abroad.
